Alice Quigley
Editor of Container MagazineAlice is the Editor of Container Magazine an online magazine that explores the people, processes, beliefs and motivations behind creative technology. Container is a space for academics, artists, journalists and other content creators to share stories and open up dialogue about the aspects of creative technology that matter to them and that aren’t often covered by mainstream media.
Alice is an editor, researcher and producer interested in film, creative technology and the arts. She was Research Associate on the AHRC-funded UK Feature Docs project, a study of the UK documentary film industry, and has a background in audience development for independent film. Her other research interests include arts organisations and the commons, alternative value systems and modes of production, and participation and inclusion in social change. Originally from Belfast, Alice worked as an arts producer for over ten years, specialising in music and arts festivals/events. She likes music, books, badminton and cooking.
