Panel: Kate Pullinger, Stephen Hilton, Simon Martin, Clayton Nash, Emily Savage.

Connecting Bath” is a brand new research report by City Global Futures, commissioned by Bath Spa University on behalf of the Bristol+Bath Creative R+D programme. (https://bristolbathcreative.org/). The report highlights the potential of private digital networks to boost the innovation and productivity of creative technology businesses. This ambition, however, collides with a strong and deeply held feeling of frustration that historically, Bath’s digital connectivity has fallen short of where it should be – leaving many local businesses and communities at a disadvantage.

This event brings together national, regional and local speakers who are at the forefront of thinking and practice on cutting edge digital networks. They will explore, the opportunities offered by Gigabit Fibre and cutting edge wireless networks; some of the new and exciting creative use cases that are being trailed in Bath, Bristol and the UK - as well as the increasing importance of digital inclusion to ensure that all businesses and communities can benefit.
