Applying to the Digital Innovation Fund (Deadline 8 July 2020)

Bristol+Bath Creative R+D and South West Creative Technology Network are inviting innovative businesses within the creative industries located in the West of England to join a meeting on Wednesday 24 June 2020 (10am-11am) to hear how they can apply to the Digital Innovation Fund - a brand new £1m ERDF-funded innovation programme from UWE Bristol. Aimed solely at businesses in the Bristol and Bath region, the Digital Innovation Fund will help support SMEs seeking to innovate and solve new challenges created by the Covid-19 pandemic, with an emphasis on the creation of new digital products, processes and services. Grants of £10,000 to £40,000 are available to fund 35% of project costs and the deadline for applications is 8 July 2020.

Our guest speaker is the Fund Lead, Thanh Quan-Nicholls, who will outline background to the Fund, project eligibility and describe the registration and application process. Thanh will also highlight the one-to-one support available throughout the application phase and answer questions.

The meeting will be co-hosted by Adam Powell and Gill Wildman, Business Development Managers for Bristol+Bath Creative R+D and SWCTN, respectively. Participants are encouraged to read more about the Fund and check eligibility at www.digitalinnovationfund.co.uk prior to attending, but this is not a pre-requisite. Questions can be submitted in advance or asked live during the meeting. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
